Created by Chris Mullen, and hosted by Flashback Gear, the annual Beaufort Comic-Con was imagined to promote pop culture in the downtown Beaufort area and the Lowcountry. During this celebration, we host numerous activities, shows, guests and exhibits related to movies, television, comic books, gaming, graphic novels, anime, manga and so much more. Many of the nearby shops and restaurants participate in a variety of ways making our convention a little different from the rest.
We are here for the fans, and we are working towards creating a family-friendly and fun weekend that will not be forgotten.
A portion of our proceeds is donated to CAPA, the Child Abuse Prevention Association. We generate income from ticket/badge sales, sponsorships, and exhibitors, and we rely on the help of essential local businesses, invaluable employees and many dedicated volunteers.
BCC18 will be located at Tabby Place on Port Republic Street (913 Port Republic St, Beaufort, SC 29902) Surrounding shops in the downtown area will be hosting smaller events in conjunction with Beaufort Comic-Con.
Tickets are picked up starting on May 1st from Flashback Gear, our store located in downtown Beaufort at 802 Bay Street. Maps, lanyards, and souvenirs are also available from there. Buy tickets now.
For those waiting to buy tickets on May 19th at the event, you will miss out on free BCC items and early bird rates.
